Middle school, like, TOTALLY sucks, you know?

Middle school like totally sucks, you know? And I'm so glad that someone finally GETS IT!! This guy, C. S. Lewis, the one who like wrote those books? It's sooo cool, 'cause he like talks about how there's this "inner circle" thing and it's completely like how I wanna be super popular! I'm so glad somebody finally understands me. He says that like everyone wants to be on the inside and no one wants to be on the outside 'cause then they'd be a loser and get made fun of and stuff. C. S. Lewis is so smart for telling people about this and how popularity is like the best thing ever. And I totally know what he's talking about when he's like "A terrible bore...ah, but how much more terrible if you were left out!" See? He gets it.

But then there's one thing I like don't get. Because like then he starts saying being popular is bad and stuff when it's totally not. It's the most important thing ever because then you have friends with you all the time and stuff, you know? But C. S. Lewis all of a sudden is like "the circle cannot have from within the arm it had from the outside". Sure, uh-huh. And then he's like, "By the very act of admitting you it has lost its magic." So what, I make the circle uncool or something? Whatever. He says its like peeling an onion or something. All I know about onions is that they like make you cry and stuff. I think he's trying to say that wanting to be popular is bad or something, which is obviously wrong. Okay, so maybe he's not as smart as I thought.

But it's okay because he says that if I do nothing about it, then i'll be an inner-ringer anyway and that's all I want. So yeah, C. S. Lewis is like super smart, but kinda dumb too.
