Your world is my snow globe. When I shake it, your universe falls apart at the seams. Chaos breaks out, barely contained in its orb. Then this cataclysm settles, until the next inquisitive person passes by and decides to shake things up again.
Hold tightly to what you can, but do not let it weigh you down. Keep moving, paddling, with that little chin stretched as high above the water as it will go. Just let the snow fall around you and find some semblance of peace. It will be over soon enough, as everything is only temporary.
It may get a little cramped in there from time to time. Bang your fists on the glass, however futile it may seem. I’ll hear you, because I’ll be listening. If you don’t get a response, yell louder. I might be out getting more coffee.
Keep your space clean. You’ve only got so much of it, so might as well keep it tidy. Make sure everything sparkles; life could use a little sparkle in it, don’t you agree? And anyways, keeping busy is good for the soul. No use sitting around all day, waiting for the next earthquake to come.
Someone might come knocking. You’re surely not expecting company, but if someone happens to come along, won’t you let them in? They may be looking for a friend as surely as you are. Human beings weren’t made to be lonely, you know. Let them stay awhile.
Stay warm. It is a snow globe, after all. Wear two pairs of socks if the sky looks dark and dress in layers. A nice cup of tea or cocoa is good to keep your insides warm. But I’m not just talking about your physical temperature. A warm, compassionate heart is a good thing to have around as well.
Don’t forget who you are. Odd as it seems, it is possible to lose yourself, even in such a small place like a snow globe. If you can’t remember, make sure to confirm your identity in your reflection. Reflections never lie unless you’re in a funhouse. But even those don’t lie. They just distort.
Most importantly, enjoy yourself. You’d be surprised what fun things can happen in your snow-globe world. Be creative and laugh seventeen times every day. Don’t waste time thinking about the next snow storm. It will come and it will pass. You, my dear, will forever be on the top shelf of my memory.

I love this post! Maybe it's the little paragraphs, each its own section, saturated with meaningful tales. Maybe it's the writing, how the words dance with each other, spinning, twirling, around the masterful penmanship of the writer. Or it could be the story itself, immersing me in a cozy world free of worries. For whatever reason, I love your writing. Thanks for sharing it Cozy :)
