My dad is mad that I didn't get into Stanford, and he believes it is because Stanford found my blog and rejected me because of the information I have on here. So he gave me a huge lecture in front of my brother that included how I'm medicated and traumatized which resulted in me jumping out of the car in the middle of the intersection and hightailing it to a bus stop.
Anyway, the security isn't because I'm abiding by his rules, but because I'm sick of him and my mom thinking they know all of the inter-workings of my head so now they officially can't read this. It's a much better alternative than completely deleting the blog, which - when I was mad - I was hellbent on doing, but couldn't bring myself to press the "permanently delete?" button.
I've also deleted any comments that include my name in them, a few posts that include identities, and my cbox.
Personally? I wish colleges would find my blog. It would give me a bonus as far as how much I get to talk about myself. But I don't think they care enough to deeply Google all of their applicants and dig up dirt. Everyone's got a few things to muddy up the waters, but at least my scandals aren't proudly posted on Facebook.
In conclusion, I would like to say this. Thank you, Mom and Dad, for uniting on this sole issue, where you believe it is in my best interest to change my face so colleges will accept me. Isn't there that one rule that goes, if friends can't accept you for who you are...something something something...Dear Mom and Dad. Go to hell.
You didn't get into Stanford because you're not supposed to go there. Something else will be a better fit. That's just how these things work. Oh, also, Stanford is freaking hard to get into. The U of M is even hard to get into. Try not to let your parents get you down too much. You won't live with them forever.
