Kick-start

Now that school is back , so's the blog. After all, now that I have homework to procrastinate on, doesn't it seem appropriate that I find something to do with my time? My candy bar has been restocked (Hershey's nuggets, Mike 'n' Ikes, Reese's, Smarties and Heath bars). I like all of my classes - there's good company in each one and I have good first impressions of all of my teachers. Other than the fact that all of my rooms are freezing cold, this semester should go well.

Oh wait. College apps.

I've made my plan for survival.

Step one: Stay on top of homework. I'm generally good at this. Art history has a massive textbook but it's an enjoyable read and has lots of pretty pictures to keep my eyes happy.

Step two: Eat well. Which means having breakfast. Kind of. I have first lunch - that's practically, breakfast isn't it? In all seriousness, I'm trying to eat something - anything - before I go to school.

Step three: Sleep like you should. With my homework load being less than last year, I can actually get to bed at a normal time. The goal is going to bed at or before 10:30 5 nights a week.

Step four: Get into college. How? Send in applications. How? Treat it like homework.

Step five: Feel good. Whether its taking a 20 minute break to write for fun or simply taking the extra time to look my best, I've gotta feel good about myself or else what's the point?
