Here and Now

ACT scores in, semester coming to a close, debate season at an end. That means no more CRJs to nag at me from the back corners of my mind, no more calculus in the wee hours of the morning, no more staying up until the next day with a highlighter held limply in my fingers.

I'll miss it, sure.

But I still get to keep a few things: mock trial (a lot more fun than I thought possible, even if it means begging Sami Meyer for dinner twice a week), APUSH (how I wish that this was the two-term class, not Comp), my more-than-meets-the-eye boyfriend (shoutout!), and my mental sanity (not always guaranteed).

Things to look forward to?

The snow melting - it'll happen - and just the spring atmosphere in general, a change of pace - good for the soul - and one day a hair cut, and maybe maybe maybe maybe maybe a drivers license. But who knows.

Okay, okay, I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's focus on the here and the now:
Calculus final, part 1, in T minus 11 hours.
APUSH test, need to clinch it.
Sleep. Sleep is good. Sleep is very very good.
