sometimes things go awry, and when they do, you have to adapt. even though it seems like such an appealing option, it's too early to throw in the towel. stick it through, stand your ground, strike back against adversity. you might come out bruised, but at least you'll be standing. occasionally you'll encounter hardship, but it's not your hardships in life that define you, it's your responses to them. you are not and never were mediocre, so don't surrender now.
