From My Mother:

I don't know why you are so annoyed with me when all I am trying to do is offering my help.  As I said, I will be out of town from 10/26 to 10/29.  I think you should get the whole package ready to go by Sunday and then have Ms. Landy go over the package with you to see if you are missing anything in the package.  I will be happy to help you but you seem to make it very plain that you don't want me to be involved.  And since you don't want my help, I am sure that you will be asking your father to pay for your $90 application fee.  Don't even think about telling your friends in the blog that your mother refuses to pay for the college application fees! Well, you could but maybe you should then explain how you have been treating your mother! I don't think that I want to pay for anything when I am not asked kindly or treated kindly just because you think that you are my daughter.  You are grown up now and I am sure that you understand nobody in the right mind would want to subject herself or himself to any cruelty treatment.  Mothers are no exceptions!

 

If you get stressed out on Sunday or Monday, please do so at your dad's.
