I've been doing a lot of walking lately. What with my mom ignoring me and my lack of a vehicle (...and license), I've taken to strolling through the suburbs, the trails, the shopping centers, our little boardwalk town and all around. I give myself a destination, and it is hardly ever a physical place. More likely, I seek chocolate therapy or retail therapy or just, straight up, therapy. Byerly's for something sweet in the bakery? An afternoon in Barnes & Noble perusing through a world made of books? A walk beside the train tracks and the lake? Reading, people-watching, buying, eating, and I almost forget that my mother doesn't know how to love me right.
I like to walk because I do it slowly, simply, and purposefully. And that's how I want to live life. Slowly. Simply. Purposefully.
partha: That's how I want to have sex.
